Frequently Asked Questions:
"Why should I hire a bridal consultant?"
A good bridal consultant will save you more than her fee. You only get to be the bride one time,
so you should enjoy it. Part of enjoying your wedding and the planning time leading up to it is
having an experienced person take the burden off of you while you still make all of the decisions.
"When's a good time to hire a consultant?"
As soon as you become engaged so you can benefit from her expertise at every stage of
planning.
"Why so early? "
She'll help you negotiate contracts, help you create a realistic timeline & maximize your budget.
The more time you have, the more money she can save you.
"Why Sue? "
Sue is one of only 32 Master Bridal Consultants in the world,
and the only one based in the Southeastern United States. With over
22 years of experience assisting brides locally, in destinations all
around the country and in several islands, she's seen it all. Because
of Sue's relationship with Atlanta's top wedding professionals and
her involvement with the Association
of Bridal Consultants, a worldwide wedding professional organization,
she can save you anxiety, money, and guarantee you'll have a perfect
wedding whenever you choose to be married.
"What's Sue's motto? "
Your wedding is all about you. I'm just here to help.
"How does she charge? "
Sue charges a flat fee determined by your wedding's needs. Call her for a free "Getting to Know
You" session where you can discuss your needs and determine a fee.
"I'm capable of planning my own wedding, what if I hire you just for the day?"
Although she understands the desire to plan your own wedding and save
money on the consultant, it's not something she would feel comfortable
doing. The bride does not get the best wedding this way, and in the
end, it's costlier than it needs to be and usually does not alleviate
stress on the wedding day. Other consultants may offer "Day Of" or "Partial
Planning Services", but in Sue's experience it's difficult for a professional
to accept responsibility for the quality of an event, she has no input
in planning.
