Wedding Tips:
Questions Every Bride and Groom Should Ask...
1. To the caterer ... Is the price you have given
me a "Minimum Event Price" or a "per person price"? If less guests
attend than I now expect, will this figure be less?
2. To the florist ... After the wedding will your staff remove all the flowers and decorations and be responsible for leaving the
room clean?
3. To the musicians ... Can I be assured that all the specific musicians I heard will be playing at my wedding or do you
substitute musicians?
4. To the photographer ... will you personally be at my wedding and taking pictures, or is there a possibility that you will
send an associate?
5. To the videographer ... Do you provide a 20-30 minute highlight tape (or DVD) of my wedding and will this be available at
the beginning of my full wedding video?
Bridal Don'ts...
1. Don't assume everyone knows what you want ... tell them. None of
your wedding professionals (vendors) will be mind readers.
2. Don't schedule too many activities on your wedding weekend. You
want to feel relaxed, not like you are rushing to get it all done.
3. Don't try to please EVERYONE on your wedding day. You will want
to accommodate your family, but remember this is the bride and groom's
day.
4. Don't put off writing your thank you notes... make yourself write
a few each day. Leaving all your notes until after the wedding will
certainly take the magic out of your first few months of marriage,
5. Don't plan your bachelor or bachelorette party for the night before
the wedding. Try to do it earlier in the week so you can enjoy it AND the
wedding!
Bridal Do's...
1. Do create and write down a realistic budget for your wedding and update it continually!
2. Do read and make sure you understand every word of every contract before you sign it. Ask questions if you are not sure
what is meant.
3. Do ask for and check references on all wedding professionals.
4. Do take careful notes during every discussion with your vendors so you will have a record of everything that has been
discussed and will know what you have not yet told them.
5. Do be on time for your rehearsal and Wedding day. Running late will make you nervous and decrease your enjoyment of the festivities!
